Mathematics Link

http://www.bbc.co.uk/skillswise/numbers/fractiondecimalpercentage/comparing/comparingall3/index.shtml

This math link is an excellent resource for comparing decimals, fractions, and percents. In grade 8 you are expected to learn equivalent forms of a number. In other words, you need to know how to identify and write decimals, fractions, and percents that all mean the same number. This website has factsheets, a game, a guiz, and worksheets to review the information that we cover in class. It is a great place to practice your new math skills.

This website teaches the following Grade 8 Mathematics Curriculum expectation:

Number Sense and Numeration
By the end of Grade 8, students will:
- translate between equivalent forms of a number (i.e., decimals, factions, percents).
